1. CAN I ORDER BY TELEPHONE?
Yes, you can. To place an order by phone please call our team on +27 (0)21 422 1620 from Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm (South African Time).
2. DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM?
Yes, we have 5 stores in South Africa, and various stockists internationally. Our flagship store is in Cape Town, and carries the widest range of stock. Please visit the Locate a Store page for all our stores.
3. CAN I SAVE ITEMS FOR LATER?
Yes – simply click the ‘Add to Wishlist’ button which you see on each product page. You will be able to revisit your selection of liked products in your cart at any time.
4. DO THINGS SELL OUT?
Yes. All our products are handmade and stock may be limited.
5. HOW QUICKLY DO YOU DISPATCH ITEMS AFTER I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER?
Once payment has cleared with the bank, all orders are usually dispatched from the warehouse within 1 working day, to arrive with most SA customers within 5 working days (please allow up to 10 working days at busier periods such as Christmas). For international shoppers, please allow 10-15 working days for delivery.
6. CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER ONCE IT IS PLACED?
Yes, you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice (as per our Terms and Conditions) up to 72 hours after you’ve received your order.
Please note, any goods made to a customer’s own specifications, made to measure or personalised items are produced only upon request and confirmation of the order, and in such instances cancellation of the order will not be possible.
7. CAN’T FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR?
If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact our online team who will be able to assist. We are happy to help with all requests, no matter how big or small. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org. We can also arrange bespoke items if a suitable piece cannot be found.
8. CAN I HAVE MY ORDER GIFT WRAPPED?
Absolutely, just indicate on the checkout page that this item is a gift, and it will arrive wrapped at its destination.
9. WHO IS CAPE ORIGINALS AND WHY IS MY ORDER NOT PLACED WITH AVOOVA DIRECTLY?
AVOOVA – the brand name and the products – is owned, produced and marketed by Cape Originals. It is the same company.
10. WHAT CURRENCIES CAN I PAY IN?
Prices can be displayed in USD, GBP or Euros by using our currency converter on the shopping pages. All international sales will be transacted in US Dollars at the prevailing rate, regardless of country of purchase.
11. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept card payments via PayPal. For SA residents payments can be made by EFT. Contact us on email@example.com for further details.
