The egg is one of nature’s most striking forms, a simple pleasure to behold and a symbol of life and beauty. The Tankwa design is inspired by the mysterious ‘fairy’ circles to be found on the fringes of Southern African deserts like the Tankwa Karoo.
Each full-size AVOOVA decorative egg is really two eggs in one. An empty, unfertilised ostrich egg that we have capped and hand-decorated with a second layer of ostrich eggshell veneer. Supplied in a luxury gift box with an acrylic display stand.
