Sneak Preview: AVOOVA Bar Carts

AVOOVA has been designing bar accessories for a long time and a request we’ve often received is for a beautiful bar cart on which to display these pieces. And so, in conjunction with fellow bar cart lover and interior designer, Natalie Thiart, we have been working on some fun ideas and are finally ready to release the first editions to the world!

The first design depicts the lavish jungle growth of the Tistsikamma forest in a bold display of ostrich eggshell, set into a charcoal cement and fringed with bottle-restraining silver studs. The sleek American walnut legs remind us that the most beautiful colours and textures are to be found in nature and that, very sadly, the Tsitsikamma forest was probably never a source of sustainable wood.

The exquisite Celestial Bar Cart is a limited-edition design that reimagines the cycles of the moon and the famed Karoo night sky.  Its sleek mirror-finish stainless-steel legs add a luxurious 1920s touch to the drinks trolley, making it the perfect centrepiece for your next dinner party.

Both are made to order (allow 10-12 weeks).

Use these conversation-starters to entertain poolside, or move the party to a different area of the house thanks to their luxury caster wheels.

The overall effect is striking, modern and totally different to our other shops. If you’ve visited our Joburg, V&A or…
